The main reason we chose Ambulo for our two week trip to Australia was the flexibility offered at each moment (dates, types of hotels, distribution of days in each place, activities in each area,...) While organising our trip to California and French Polynesia, we contacted a number of agencies but they all offered the same package. This was our honeymoon and we wanted it to be special. Above all, we wanted to custom design our trip and didn't want to travel in a group. We wanted to be able to decide how many days we were going to spend in each place and, after careful planning, which hotels we wanted to stay in. Ambulo made it all easy by being flexible and finding the right number of days, the best flight combinations and recommending different hotels, and at the same time fitting it into our budget. They recommended what to see, restaurants, and other activities, which ended up being very useful, especially in Sydney, where we had more free time. Flexibility, a wide range of experience and personalised. These are the three characteristics that I would highlight in my relationship with Ambulo. I had been thinking about a trip to Australia for a number of years. As soon as I finally got enough time to fulfil one of my dreams, I was on top of it. I got in contact with Alex based on the great references I had from friends who had organised their trips through him. I can honestly say that my expectations were exceeded. What was originally going to be a trip to Australia, ended up including Cambodia and Borneo (highly recommendable): 35 days, 3 completely different countries, about 15 flights and all custom-made and without any hiccoughs. After bombarding Alex with multiple destinations, we decided on two very distinct destinations: New York and French Polynesia. Our honeymoon was something we had always dreamed about: Australia was somewhere we had always wanted to visit. When we began planning the trip my cousin recommended Ambulo and that was a great start: Alex had some magnificent ideas. When we told him that South East Asia didn't appeal to us, he suggested a stopover on the west coast, rather than one long exhausting flight. There we got to see San Francisco, staying at a modern hotel which was incredible. We also wanted to spend the last few days relaxing on the beach. However, when we told Alex our travel dates he told us that is would coincide with the heavy rains on the Great Barrier Reef. We were quite upset. Straight away, Alex suggested another fantastic destination: Bora Bora, where we stayed at an amazing hotel. Without a doubt, planning our trip with Alex was a great experience and two things come to mind: his expert recommendations for each destination, hotel, restaurants and his huge flexibility, changing our itinerary to fit our needs and happily meeting us at late hours, due to our busy schedules, to talk about our trip.
