Although Alex was born in London, he has spent the vast majority of his life outside the UK, living in places as diverse as Australia, Singapore and Chicago, finally settling in Madrid.

Travelling has always been an integral part of his life. From a very young age, Alex travelled with his family to different and remote destinations, each making a mark on his life and influencing him in some way. As soon as he could, he began organising his own trips and experiences, which became increasingly ambitious.

Alex began a career in management consulting, working for a total of eight years at two top-flight firms, earning an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Still passionate about travel, Alex founded Viajes Ambulo with the aim of providing unique, memorable and lasting travel experiences.

More than 20 years on, Alex has designed hundreds of incredible trips to fascinating and remote destinations, allowing him to share his passion and enthusiasm, leaving his clients with exceptional memories and experiences.
